When You Think of Child Development...What Would You Do?

As educators we have to think about the importance of child development and what we can do to foster it. A lot of educators have a hard time thinking/reflecting on what the most important thing is about child development. Simply; the answer is...THE CHILD AS AN INDIVIDUAL. The TedTalk clilp not only addresses that, but hits on many of the topics we have discovered throughout this course. I will remember Tom Weisner's last statement and share this knowledge to the teachers I mentor; "think about the context the whole world around the child and you will do much better at improving the lives of children everywhere."
